Abstract
All the attendees to the Conference will visit the youngest monogenetic volcanism of the Garrotxa Volcanic Zone Natural Park. Phreatomagmatism, maar crater and scoria cones of the Santa Margarita and Croscat natural protected area will be discussed. The paricipants will also visit lava flows of the Castellfollit de la Roca cliff, considered one of the most beautiful landscapes of Spain. The field trip will finish in the Medieval village of Santa Pau.
